Our April meeting will be held at our usual Rochester location, The Legacy at the Parklands in Churchville at 1pm. President Kathleen J. Kaminski and Vice- President Lissa Redmond will talk about the Murderous March Confab they attended with the Mavens of Mayhem Chapter of SinC. Then Kathleen will give a presentation entitled, "Facebook Parties for Authors". Learn to throw your own Facebook party to promote your books-it’s an easy and fun way to attract new readers and connect with current ones.

Legacy at the Parklands 2000 Park Creek Ln, Churchville, NY 14428 Our December Meeting will be a holiday party. We'll meet for a holiday luncheon at Stone's Countryside at 1pm. You'll be able to order off the menu. Be prepared to discuss favorite mysteries!
We will also have an optional mystery gift exchange. If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped mystery/writing related gift. The spending limit is $20. Our June meeting will be in Buffalo, NY. Join us at 1pm at the Dog Ears Bookstore located at 688 Abbott Rd Buffalo NY 14220. Our speaker is recently retired Buffalo Police Detective Dan Redmond who will teach civilian response to active shooter to the group. He will also answer questions writers may have about firearms.
Dan Redmond is a retired 24-year veteran of the Buffalo police department. He worked as a detective in the Narcotics Squad, The DEA task force, and the Homicide Squad. He was also a member of the BPD Swat team, where he served as a team leader and lectured and trained civilians and police officers on active shooter incidents. He is a certified Federal Active Shooter instructor and a certified NYS firearms instructor. |
